Holi is well known as the festival of colors in which people sprinkle or apply colors on each other. It is celebrated by Hindus in the month of Phalgun, generally on February or March. The popular legend associated with this festival is that on this day Holika was burnt and Bakht Prahlada was saved. The Holi in Braj Bhoomi is very famous as it memorizes us the bonding of love between Lord Krishna and Radha. Holi is known by numerous names of Basant Utsav, Dol Purnima, Shimgo, Dulandi Holi, Phagu Purnima, Lathmaar Holi, Hola Mohalla, Rangpanchami and Kaman Pandigai in different parts of India.
