Super Women

DownUp +4

When I was a baby to a child
You never fail to cook
Before leaving to work
You brought me up like gold
You took good care of me
When I was a teenager
I thought your scolding is bad for me
I become unappreciative
Pride myself I don’t need you any more
And I demanded my freedom
Forcing you to believe
That I can manage without
Your guidance all the way
Today after many years later
Thinking of how much troubles
I must have been caused you
I want to apologise to you
For my wrongdoings.nonsense.
saying and thoughts
The tantrums and hard times
I throw your way
The many times
I made you worried sick and cry
You tolerated them all
Even what I’m saying now is meaningless
Compare with your sincerity
of raising me
You’re a superwomen and
You show’d to me
That there’s a light
At the end of the tunnel
Even at the darkness moments
And…that remain eternally
I love you Mum and I hope you know!

*Baby*

DownUp +7

There’s something about motherhood
Which only woman can understand
That feeling of feeling
A being grow in your womb
Another heart beat nurtured
Within your body
As this embryo grows limbs,
Organs and flesh to become your baby
Feeling that baby move within you
Is one of the most joyous feelings
A mother-to-be can have
Being a mother is spent
Going through the same routine
All mothers do keep
Their children fed,clothed and watered
All in the name of nurturing
And protecting these beings
You brought into this world
“LOVE”-is what make this happen
Since having children
I’ve felt a greater desire
To do my bit
To make this world
A better place.

Thank you Mother for who I am

DownUp +10

Thank you for all
The things I’m not
Forgive me for all the storm
I may have cause
And i’d been wrong
That hurts like
A thousand knives stabbing you
Forgive me that I wanted
To walk my path myself
Forgive me that I didn’t
See you as a great being
Forgive your daughter
For not making it right
Thank you for everything
That you have done
I know you’ve given
The best you can
I cam never be the perfect
And doting daughter
But mother I hope
You’re happy with my life
At peace with
The choice I made
Although it’s not all bed of roses
Or that I’m only concentrating
With my life but I’ve got
To stay true to myself and
I will never give up because
I made my bed
So,I just have to lie on it…

PROUD

DownUp +13

God is good because He gave you to me
I know my child, you don’t look like me
But it’s alright because you inherit it from your father
That will always be proud of you like no other.
Please my child don’t be bothered
If you got your wit and looks from you father
Because your smile, your charm and your gender
Most importantly your honesty and tidiness
You inherit that none other than from your proud mother…

We are so proud of you my child…

Precious Mother

DownUp +17

Mom You’ve given me so much,
Love from your heart
and the warmth of your touch.
The gift of life and you’re a friend to me.
We have a very Special Bond
which only comes from God…
I’m sure you agree.
As a child I would say Mommy I Love You,
Now you’re my Mother so dear
I love you even more
with each and every new year.
If I could had chosen,
I would have picked no other.
Than for you…to be my lifelong friend
and Precious Mother.

Mothers Love

DownUp +4

Her love is like
an island in life’s ocean,
vast and wide
A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the wind, the rain, the tide.
‘Tis bound on the north by Hope,
By Patience on the West,
By tender Counsel on the South
And on the East by Rest.
Above it like a beacon light
Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;
And thro’ the changing scenes of life
I find a haven there.

What Mother Mean

DownUp +11

M – O – T – H – E – R
“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old,
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,
“H” is for her heart of purest gold;
“E” is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
“R” means right, and right she’ll always be,
Put them all together, they spell
“MOTHER,”
A word that means the world to me.
