Mouth Organ
Kaustav found a mouth organ
Among his gifts in class seven, that year,
Given by his dad
Amongst many other possessions near.
Silently he circled his dad,
Staring at the new thing.
How would be the usage of one chosen
To make his small heart sing?
Circling the organ yet once again –
He looked so small in the rift –
Examining each new treasure,
He got excited at his new gift.
Carrying it from room to room,
He kept it always near;
The silvery little tunes he played
Were such a joy to hear!
With years of many instruments
And much, much music made,
I wondered if he remembers
Those first notes he had played.
His eyes lit up as he recalled
The silvery notes, tone and fun –
The love for music he had gained
From that small mouth organ.

Though you are here, and no longer far,
I’m always thinking of you, where ever you are.
Indifferent to reason, ignoring all facts,
My heart is still hungry, even when you’re back
A glimpse of what our future may hold
A beautiful story waiting to be told
Waking me in the middle of the night
Thinking of your smile- “my only light”
As you held me in your arms and stared in my eyes
my heart fell to my feet and I erased all other ties
from that moment on, I was yours all the way
i knew you were special, and i wanted you to stay
But though love comes through senses five,
Love comes from the heart,
For there resides the greater love
Of which ours is a part…………

Necessiate
I need you…
Day or Night, Sunlight or Dusk
Even in rain,
Waiting for my Cupid, my joy,
And my pain.
I require you…
Like the Star is waiting for the Sun
In the Sky;
To see it, to touch it, to love it
and to die.
I demand you…
Never so I wanted, Riches, Might
Nor Fame.
Wherever I go, whispers me the Wind
Your Name.
I want you…
I’m bound to Time (my endless mate),
Together we go.
Tell me recipes how to make it quicker –
It’s too slow.
I am waiting for you…
I myself do not understand
To be true;
Why the Spring is a Winter for me
Without You.

IRE
The enveloping nature
decides to take warning
as the clouds turn to gray,
and cloak 25th May “09’s early morning.
In the many deep browns and greens,
Loud chirping arises from the ground,
until it harmonizes
with all the panicked sounds.
The boiling clouds flood the cauldron of the universe,
And spill into a crystal sky.
Lightening flashes in the looming darkness.
And ascending high and high…
A tepid breeze rustles the leaves
high and above,
Thunder claps in the distance
as if a flock of doves
Lightning illuminates the path,
signaling the rain to start
Winds terrorize the trees,
swirling them together and apart.
Water rushes from the heavens,
an enormous waterfall upon the Earth,
Soaking everything in sight,
including a seedling’s birth.
“Rain” it’s a curtain hiding a vicious finger.
“Wind” symbolizes of a cacophony of destruction.
In the mist lies a twisting, snakelike shadow.
Infracting all high –raised construction.
An aftermath of destruction comes rue.
Lives pounded into reality.
Bodies smashed into ground.
Tantalizing the ruins of cruelty.
Many people will never be the same.
Nightmares that will live on forever.
Fearful, struggling, devastating storm.
Will cast everlasting incubi forever and ever.

Broken Heart of a Friend…
I met a guy who is so tall
I met a guy who is so nice
This guy I met became a friend
A friend to trust until the end.
This guy friend of mine act so sweet
Then suddenly, acted so weird.
This guy friend of mine admit a thing
That he fell in love with me, sure thing.
He told me that I was so easy to love
He told me that I’m his special love
For he can no longer hide it anymore.
For I to him is a friend no more.
I told my friend, forget that thing
For I cannot offer him the same thing.
I told my friend, please stay as friends
For my heart beats for some one else.
This guy friend of mine insists his love
I told him again, please be just a friend
Is that so hard for you to comprehend?
For my heart belongs to a special man.
A man whom I walked through the aisle with
A man whom I always cherished with
For that man and I become as one
That can never be replaced with anyone.
I’m sorry my friend if I broke your heart,
But you know it from the very start
That special man that holds my heart
Is a husband of mine and we will never part…

A Word That Struck me
My pen stumbled on a hard word,
breaking down tip of its nib.
Scratched; it stretched for ink flow.
Nothing came out except its dry cry.
Torn paper looked at my broken teeth.
My curse fell in loud on blank face.
Parted iridium chocked, gasp for breath.
That swine of a word still bled many.
Both legs hung up in the air in traction.
Back buckled and belted I lie flat on earth.
While mind retreated to a sedative sleep,
my plaster cast was singed and scribbled.
Many wrote poems on my legs in humor.
At last I found my word of sarcasm.
Its just snarls at me from filths of my mind,
here I drop my pen in exasperation!

Beneath the Canopy of GALAXY
Beneath the canopy of moon and stars
We two tiny people sit, for now together.
Love binds them, they would like to hope, forever;
But there is much that such a union feather.
Heaven is so vast; the Earth so small,
Yet large enough to stretch a great love thin.
For love to flourish, it must turn within:
To the single soul that unifies us all.
Within this soul the walls of fear dissolve:
Distance, difference, history are no more.
The holy silence stills the sounds of war.
We love as round us miracles revolve.
We know we cannot live within this shell
Of heaven both above us and below.
Day by every day the world we know
Will guarantee we recognize it well.
Yet there are truths far greater than the sun,
Beyond the blanket blue of every day.
In love’s dark longings, we will find a way
To make our human separateness one.
Love’s a stream that knows no borders,
Passports, visas, lengths of stay,
Laws and papers, rules and orders:
All these lies it sweeps away.
Love knows no color, race, or creed,
Spilling over states at will,
Submerging memory in need,
Drowning walls in waters still.
No bar can block it as it flows,
Tumbling towards eternity,
Gathering wisdom as it goes,
Yearning for our common sea.
