It depends on our thinking...we made the system corrupt...we elect the politicians...we are the ones who encourage nepotism and bribery..

If we correct our doings, we surely can enjoy the freedom....
I agree with desi boy...corrupt politicians have made our country slave...slave of money...

Poori dunya Safe ho sakti hai, agar currept politicion ko iss dunya se nikal dya jayie.
Agar india ko safe banana hai, to in politican ko nikalna ho ga, jo ke sirf iss lye killing karwate hain, ke ilzam upsit party per ya phir pakistan per laga kar election jeete ja sakain.

I would like to add that....

Freedom to press usually represents freedom of a country. Isn't it right ? and in india press is really scared of higher powers. I think indian press pisses in pants to write truth or express opinions.

For example....CM of andhra (congress party) lies deliberately, not one newspaper dares to question him directly, no strong opinions expressed. If you are a journalist you know how govt works, so you can scrutinize govt and literally make politicians run for cover. But nothing of that sort ever happens in india.

Every one knows about the Satyam scam, but press is not allowed to speak to raju yet, even after a month. This is goonda raj, this is not free country.

There is no right to free speech in india....

I honestly don't feel that India is a "free" country.Politicians and different "Senas" rule us.They do what they want inspite of the citizens paying taxes. It is a shame that in a democracy we don't enjoy all our fundamental rights.
